I’m delighted to learn I’ve had a poem accepted in the next edition of Paper & Ink, which is out in January. Here’s a poem of mine that was published in issue #6, which is the most recent one.
Me and Dad went looking for the window cleaner,
with the three big lads from next door.
Their mam told us she’d caught the cunt
watching her in the bath.
We caught up with him outside the launderette.
Took him down the alley. Gave him a battering.
I turned to go, then Dad tapped my elbow.
This was my big chance.
I kicked the window cleaner’s face. Again.
Broke the top set of his dentures.
Made his nose piss blood.
